Identify the objective of the communication and utilize the messaging pyramid to hit on the core brand messages and answer the question: “What messages are we trying to convey?”

Determine Audience

Identify the audience and ensure that we are using the right tone and vernacular that would appeal to each stakeholder, and use the stakeholder map to understand audiences’ key interests and messages: Owners/Entrepreneurs, Investors, Potential Partners, Team Members.
